Course Description

The course is intended for accountants, business professionals, I.T. practitioners, and non-experienced MBA candidates and Graduates who want to have an overview of SAP Business One, its functionality, and value-added features on ERP and MRP for small to midsized businesses. Serving as a foundation for more in-depth learning, this shall be the participant’s solid base towards SAP certification. It is a pre-requisite for the SAP Business One Advance Course.

It is a 5-day class designed for the student-trainee to have a feel of the capabilities of the SAP Business One software. Challenging exercises shall be interspersed with interesting lectures in order to simulate scenarios that usually occur during database building, installation and configuration. Each student-trainee shall be provided with a PC to efficiently facilitate the teaching and learning process.

Course Objectives

At the end of this course the student should be able to:

• Understand the basic concepts and methods of implementing SAP *Business One for the following modules: Financials, Master data, Purchasing, AP, Inventory, Sales, AR, Budgeting, Banking, Period-end closing, Document Handling and Implementation and Configuration.
• Install and configure a basic Business One system for a case company.

• Understand basic helpdesk support processes in maintaining key Business One modules.
