1. Q: What does Fasttrack offer in terms of training?

A: Fasttrack offers two training courses on SAP B1 which is focused on both functional and technical (solutions) consultancy.

2. Q: What is the coverage of the training course/s?

A: The Basic Course covers the overview of SAP B1 its functionalities, capabilities, the concepts and fundamentals of the business processes of a typical company.

The advance course covers the more technical aspect of SAP B1 which is formatting, report layout design, queries and other customization functionalities.

3. Q: I have no knowledge and experience in SAP but would like to take up SAP courses. What are the recommended courses?

A: Beginners are encouraged to take up the Quickstart Program or the Basic Training Course. It runs for 20 training hours usually held for 5 days from 6pm to 10 pm.

4. Q: What are the prerequisites to be enrolled in the Quickstart Program?

A: The enrollee must satisfy the following prerequisites:

• Basic business knowledge
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Windows applications

• Understanding of basic accounting principles

  5. Q: Who are qualified to attend the Quickstart Program?

  A: The following are qualified to attend the Quickstart Program?

  6. Q: Is there guaranteed employment after completing the program/s?

  A: What we can guarantee is that you will be included in our database and that we will endorse you to business partners who are reselling or using SAP B1. We have partners not only here in the Philippines but also in Asia Pacific that are in need of consultants.

  7. Q: How will the classes be conducted?

  A: The classes are delivered by SAP Professionals and Certified Consultants. Method is a combination of lecture, demo and exercises. During the class you will be provided with your own PC which you will use for the exercises. A manual and demo CD will also be given to you as you are very much encouraged to practice outside the class.

  8. Q: What exactly will I learn from the 5 days training?

  A: After the course you should be able to:

• Understand the basic concepts and methods of implementing SAP Business One for the following modules: Financials, Master data, Purchasing, AP, Inventory, Sales, AR, Budgeting, Banking, Period-end closing, Document Handling and Implementation and Configuration.
• Install and configure a basic Business One system for a case company.

• Understand basic helpdesk support processes in maintaining key Business One modules.

  9. Q: How do I sign up for the program?

  A: Please provide your full name, contact number and e-mail address so that we can send to you the registration form, class schedules as well as the payment process. Other info that you need are also included in said e-mail.

  10. Q: How do I pay?

  A: Cash or dated cheque payments are accepted. You may visit us here in our office or deposit the payment thru our bank account. Bank details will be sent to you thru e-mail.

  11. Q: How will I know that I have been admitted in the program?

  A: As soon as you have paid we will inform you of your admittance and on top of that a confirmation letter will be sent to you via e-mail by our Training Administrator, Ms. Melen Bones, three (3) days from the start of the training.

  1. Q: What is SAP B1?

  A: SAP Business One is an integrated, affordable, business management solution designed for small and mid-size businesses (SMBs).

  2. Q: How different is SAP B1 from R/3?

  A: R/3’s functionalities cater to companies which have more users and have more complex business processes. You may browse through our product description within this website.

  3. Q: Does it mean that B1 is inferior to R/3?

  A: On the contrary, since B1 was just recently developed it has improvements that R3 does not have.

  4. Q: If I know B1 does it automatically make me knowledgeable in R/3 also?

  A: Not necessarily, but, it is a big advantage and a good entry point if you are really bent on getting SAP education and experience.

  5. Q: How promising is an SAP B1 career?

  A: Very promising considering that the focus of SAP now is to penetrate the SMB market. SMBs are emerging not only in the Philippines but moreso in other countries within the Asia Pacific Region. Definitely the need for consultants follows the software selling market.

  1. Q: What is the business of FastTrack and how is it related to SAP?

  A: FastTrack is one of the 4 business partners of SAP here in the Philippines that resell SAP B1. We are the only business partner right now that offers training courses on SAP B1.

  2. Q: Do you also conduct certification exams?

  A: SAP Philippines conducts the certification exams but we do coordinate with them on when the exams will be done based on the graduates that have signified their intention to take the certification. They need to be endorsed by us since the certification exam for solution consultants is open only to business partners.

  3. Q: Is FastTrack a local company?

  A: Its mother company is Fasttrack Solutions Berhad in Malaysia. Said company’s first venture outside the Philippines is Fasttrack Solutions Inc.

  4. Q: Can a graduate of FastTrack training be employed by other business partners?

  A: Yes, we will even endorse you to them.
